The Chester Exiles are the proud sponsors of an information board at the Deva Stadium, which explains the heritage of an historic plaque which is now on the wall at the ground.The plaque was once in place at the old Sealand Road Stadium, and was presented to the club by the Supporters' Committee in 1935 when the fans contributed significant funds towards the development of the ground.
It was rescued during the demolition of the ground in 1992 and, in a project overseen by club historian Chas Sumner, it was restored by students at West Cheshire College under the supervision of Altoment Townsend.
Chester Exiles have sponsored the explanatory information board, created by Art Graphics of Saltney, which sits alongside it.
